We don’t know about you, but we have tried a number of different face covering designs, in different fabrics, over the last few weeks.  Just like our bags, we keep tinkering until we make a product that we agree is right.  And just like our bags, we know what we like from using what we make.  We are personally using these face coverings and happy to share them with our community.

Color:  Exterior Slate/Interior Pewter

Materials:  Poplin.  65% Polyester/35% Cotton

Adjustable Tie Sizing Suggestions [Not all heads are created equal, nor is elastic.  We made adjustable ties so that your covering will fit you better and due to the lower stretch elastic we were able to source (not an easy task the last two months)].

To size your covering, make a mark on elastic and knot ties together so that knot lands on end of mark.  Our suggested mark placements:

  • Smaller:  Make mark on elastic 2" from the side of face covering.
  • Larger:  Make mark on elastic 3 1/2" from the side of face covering.

Limited Batch of 50 (Green and Slate)

Best care for longevity:  Hand wash hot water, hang dry.  Optional Care:  Machine wash warm, tumble dry low or line dry.  Do not bleach.

About Your Donation:

*$3 is included in the price of each covering; it will be given to the Mill City Farmers Market Farmer Relief Fund.  We are personally customers of the Mill City Farmers Market (MCFM), as well as 2020 *virtual* vendors at MCFM. Per MCFM: "The Mill City Farmers Market Charitable Fund (MCFM-CF) has established a Farmer Relief Fund to provide assistance to local farms severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of this relief program is to help keep regenerative family farmers on the land, producing nourishing food for all."

Why is a bicycle bag company selling face coverings?

Our community has expressed a continued need for this item with us directly.  We have the skills to make something to assist our community and do not see the need decreasing in the coming months.  We want to help our community.

The fine print:

  • All sales final.  This is a non-returnable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-discounted item.
  • These coverings are not intended for medical use.
  • These coverings do not protect against, or prevent, disease transmission or acquisition.
  • These coverings do not meet the definition of a medical device.
  • These coverings are not N95 masks, nor should they be used as a substitute for one.

Per the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention):  “In light of new data about how COVID-19 spreads, along with evidence of widespread COVID-19 illness in communities across the country, CDC recommends that people wear a cloth face covering to cover their nose and mouth in the community setting. This is to protect people around you if you are infected but do not have symptoms.”
